School of Ayurveda in the Garden

I offer you four half-day workshops about Ayurveda – an ancient Indian science about life and longevity. Apart from lectures about Ayurveda we will learn and try on ourselves various Ayurvedic therapies and our workshop will be closed by a healthy Ayurvedic (vegan) lunch that we will prepare together in my garden… And how our daily program will look like?

Monday

  • Pranayama: Jala Neti – nose cleaning procedure, yogic breathing techniques, Bhramari – bee breathing
  • Lecture: Ayurveda Introduction – basic elements in a nature and their presence in our bodies, Doshas – constitution types according to Ayurveda (Vata, Pitta and Kapha), born and current Dosha, the basic test on your Dosha determination, exercise and a life style recommended by Ayurveda for each Dosha
  • Ayurvedic practice: Face and Head Marma points and benefits of their stimulation, self-massage of Face and Head, Nasya – nose treatment with natural oils
  • Cooking class: Tofu Paneer – marinated tofu in spinach sauce with Indian bread Chapati, fresh salad

Thuesday

  • Pranayama: Jala Neti – nose cleaning procedure, alternate breathing technique, energetic lock Jalandhara Bandha
  • Lecture: Three pillars of Ayurveda: i) Ayurvedic food – principles of correct combination of food – what, when and how to eat, herbs with detox effect, spices in Ayurveda, recommended foods for each Dosha, ii) Sleep and iii) Life style according to Ayurveda
  • Ayurvedic practice: Baluka Sweden – Ayurvedic therapy with hot sand and salt for neck spine and painful spine, Nasya – nose treatment with natural oils
  • Cooking class: Kitcheri – Ayurvedic detoxication meal from Basmati rice and Mung Dal beans

Wednesday

  • Pranayama: Jala Neti – nose cleaning procedure, Shitali breathing, energetic lock Mula Bandha
  • Lecture: Diagnostics in Ayurveda – 8 steps of Ayurvedic diagnostics, pulse diagnostics on determination of born and current Dosha, determination of your own Dosha by pulse diagnostics
  • Ayurvedic practice: Kadi Vasti – Ayurvedic therapy with hot oil for problems with spine, Nasya – nose treatment with natural oils
  • Cooking class: Aloo Gobi – potatoes, cauliflower and various vegetables with curry spices, fresh salad

Thursday

  • Pranayama: Jala Neti – nose cleaning procedure, Udjayi breathing, energetic lock Uddiyana Bandha
  • Lecture: Prevention and Health – daily regime according to Ayurveda, annual seasons, 12 steps to Health, Rasajana – Beauty and Regeneration, recommendation of beaty treatments for each Dosha
  • Ayurvedic practice: Banking of painful back, Nasya – nose treatment with natural oils
  • Cooking class: Chana Masala – Indian Chick peas with Basmati rice, fresh salad

27 euro / person / 1 half-day workshop (including Ayurvedic lunch) if you register for at least 3 half-day workshops
